“Give thanks to the Lord; call on His name; make known His deeds among the nations.”
(1 Chronicles 16:8)
If we are commanded to proclaim His deeds, why are we not sharing them widely? Look at the Scriptures:
“Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.”
(1 Chronicles 16:23-24)
“Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, ‘The Lord reigns!’”
(1 Chronicles 16:31)
The Call to Be a Light to the World
The Bible speaks of God’s plan for all nations to know Him:
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
(Habakkuk 2:14)
And Jesus Himself commands us:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
(Matthew 28:19-20)
We, as followers of Christ, are called to spread the light of the Gospel. The miracles of Israel—both ancient and modern—are undeniable proof of God’s power and His enduring faithfulness. Shouldn’t we share this testimony with the world?
Miracles in the History of God’s People
The Jewish people have experienced unparalleled miracles, from the Exodus to the return to their land in modern times. The fulfillment of prophecies, such as the restoration of Israel, is a testament to God’s faithfulness.
“I will bring back My people Israel from exile; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them.”
(Amos 9:14-15)
Even today, Israel’s survival through countless adversities—be it the Holocaust, the wars of modern history, or ongoing threats—is nothing short of a divine miracle.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
(Romans 8:28)
A Call to Unite in Faith
The time has come for Christians to recognize the role of Israel in God’s plan. As Paul writes:
“If some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches.”
(Romans 11:17-18)
We are all part of one great plan, united under Christ, the promised Messiah. Let us celebrate this unity and call the nations to honor God:
“Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
(Philippians 2:9-11)
A Vision for the Future
God’s ultimate plan is for all nations to worship Him in unity and peace:
“On that day they will say, ‘Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in Him; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.’”
(Isaiah 25:9)
“For My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
(Isaiah 56:7)
Imagine a world where every nation acknowledges God, where wars cease, and where peace reigns. This is not a dream—it is the promise of the Gospel. As Revelation declares:
“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’”
(Revelation 7:9-10)
Miracles Require Action
Perhaps we are waiting for a great miracle to bring the world to believe. Yet, God has already performed countless miracles. Let us not wait but act:
- Share the Gospel boldly.
- Be a light in your community.
- Pray for peace and for the salvation of all nations.
As Jesus taught us to pray:
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
(Matthew 6:10)
Let us proclaim to the world:
“The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the distant shores be glad!”
(Psalm 97:1)
And as we await the return of our Lord, let us be His witnesses:
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
(Acts 1:8)
A Call to Faith
If all these miracles—from the survival of Israel to the message of the Gospel—are not evidence of God’s hand, then what is? Let us declare to the world:
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
(Psalm 118:24)
Faith in Jesus is the bridge between nations. It is the answer to division, the hope for peace, and the path to salvation.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)
Let us unite as one body, under one Lord, proclaiming His glory to all nations. The Lord reigns now and forevermore!
